Makers Website: Musical Instrument Maker
One of the many things I love about being a creative solopreneur is, how my days can vary. At the moment, I’m enjoying focusing on meeting with clients and working on website and logo design.
The website is actually for my lovely husband, Robert and his business, HiGuitarsUK. Call me biased but I adore the hand-made instruments he creates and was eager to get started with his website.
We are based in the Yorkshire Dales, so we thought it important to embrace where we live in this beautiful part of the UK - hence the large landscape photographs.
His workmanship, attention to detail, design experience and a nod to tradition and legacy is key for him. The site is clean, smooth running and of course, focuses on his beautiful stringed instruments whilst also being easy to navigate.
Logo Design - Primary and Secondary
After the website, Robert wanted a logo that represented his business and vibe in a striking and memorable way. We worked together on this one - I know and without arguments! Robert drew up his rough idea and I created the logo digitally for him.
Business Card Design
Lastly, I created and designed business cards for Robert and this gave me an opportunity to use the new logo but to also include a beautiful image from where we live and work, whilst simultaneously showcasing one of his lovingly made ukuleles.
