02. Strategy & Direction
From your workbook, I’ll pull together your website strategy and foundational copy suggestions. We’ll review everything together in a Content Review Call — and nothing gets built until we’re happy with the direction.
03 — Build (2 wks)
Your two-week build. Scheduled calls at key stages — homepage presentation, full site walkthrough, and pre-launch review. Structured feedback rounds so the process stays focused and efficient, without it ever feeling rushed.
04 — Launch & Handover
Launch day, live training, personalised screen recordings to keep, and a post-launch support window so you leave feeling genuinely confident managing your site. Time to celebrate!

Proposal sent within 1-2 days of our call
Review and digitally sign the proposal and contract (usually same day) via my Getting Started Hub
Pay a deposit to lock in your project and the 2-week web build slot
Receive an invite to your client portal with timeline and next steps
The Calm Foundations Workbook and prep phase begin approximately 4 weeks before your two-week build. This gives you a relaxed window to fit around your schedule, to complete the workbook at your own pace, and gather your content. Content due 7 days before web build.
Clients have a pre-project and web-build slot locked in within 48 hours of our call!

The custom Squarespace website project is built from scratch around your brand — no templates in sight.
The Template Build works within my professionally designed Squarespace template, customised to your brand and content. Both are properly done. The differences are investment, timeline, and level of bespoke design.

A bespoke site is built entirely around your brand, your clients, and your goals — with strategy baked in from the start. It’s designed for speed, SEO performance, and long-term flexibility in a way that a self-built template simply can’t replicate. That said, if budget is a priority right now, The Template Build is a fab middle ground — still properly done, just at a lower investment.

Absolutely — I’m based in Yorkshire (GMT timezone), but work with clients all over the world. Everything runs remotely via Zoom and your client portal, so wherever you are, we’re good.

A 50% deposit secures your project slot, with the remaining 50% due before launch. You can pay securely via Stripe using a credit or debit card; a 3% processing fee applies for all locations. Transactions are made in GBP (£), and your bank will convert the amount based on its exchange rate. UK clients can also pay by bank transfer.
For larger scope projects, 3 equal instalments can be made:
33% deposit secures your project slot
33% due after brand visuals are approved
Final 34% due before website launch

In addition to my fees, you’ll need to budget for Squarespace hosting (from around £12–£29+/month — I can offer 10% off your first year), and any optional Squarespace add-ons such as Acuity Scheduling (from £11/month) or Email Campaigns (from £9/month). I’ll guide you through all of this — no surprises.

Yes —e-commerce, scheduling tools, email platforms (including Squarespace Email Campaigns), and most common integrations can all be scoped into your project or added as a setup service. We’ll cover the deets in your proposal.

Honestly? No — and anyone who says they can’t isn’t being straight with you. What I do is build stellar SEO foundations: clean site structure, on-page metadata, image optimisation, and guidance on connecting to Google Search Console. SEO is a long game, but a well-built site gives you the best possible start.

From booking to launch, most projects take around 6–8 weeks in total — allowing a 3–4 week prep phase (workbook, strategy, and content to be provided by you, or add-on) followed by the two-week build. I’ll confirm your exact timeline in your proposal.

All final content — copy, images, logo, fonts, and colour palette — needs to arrive at least 7 working days before your build slot. Late content may mean rescheduling, and your payment timeline still applies. I’ll always give you a clear content checklist well in advance so there are no last-minute panics. 🙏

A 2-weekpost-launch email support is included for every project. After that, I offer VIP Squarespace Care Days (£348 for half day + £698 for full day) for bigger updates or refreshes, online Web Strategy (£175), and Squarespace Help Sessions (£175) for quick fixes or guidance whenever you need it. I’m not going anywhere.
