Writing your own copy? Brilliant, you know your business better than anyone. I'll guide you through it with the same content checklist and structure I use across all my projects, so nothing gets missed.
Not sure it's quite right? Send me your draft and I'll review it and add suggestions for £50 per page. You make the edits, then it lands ready for build.

Yes — content migration is possible, though it may involve additional fees depending on the complexity. We’ll have a proper chat about this on your discovery call.

A 50% deposit secures your project slot, with the remaining 50% due before launch. You can pay securely via Stripe using a credit or debit card; a 3% processing fee applies for all locations. Transactions are made in GBP (£), and your bank will convert the amount based on its exchange rate. UK clients can also pay by bank transfer.

I'll be honest, AI makes me a tad wary. But it's not going anywhere, and I'm not here to tell you to avoid it.
Here's how I see it, though. A website isn't just how it looks. It's how it feels, and whether it actually works: hosting, domains, email, SEO, third-party bits and bobs all talking to each other properly. Think of it like making soup. Anyone can tip ingredients into a pot, AI included. But knowing what goes in, when, and why is what makes it nourishing rather than watery, and leave one thing out and the whole lot falls flat.
AI is a tool, not a cook. You have to know exactly what you want and spell it out, and even then, what comes back is often a bit... rubbish. Generic. It can't taste as it goes, it doesn't have intuition or heart, and it definitely doesn't know your business, your clients, or what makes you tick.
Getting it wrong the first time round rarely stays cheap, either. A site cobbled together in a hurry tends to need fixing later, with missed enquiries, wasted time, sometimes a full rebuild. Doing it properly from the start saves you money in the long run, not just hassle.
As a Squarespace Circle Member, I also bring a level of platform expertise, not just self-declared. AI can't claim that for itself.
You've done the hard work of building your business. My job is to give it a home that reflects that, so you get your time back to focus on what you're actually good at, rather than getting tangled up in website admin.

I do use AI in my business: organising, and the occasional bit of coding help when I'm stuck.
I do not use AI to create, design, or build websites for me. Your design is entirely my own work, built within what Squarespace can do and shaped by my own experience, not a prompt. AI doesn't know your business, your clients, or what makes you you, and that's the part that makes a website work.
I'll also ask you not to use AI for your questionnaire answers. Authenticity matters, and not just as a nice idea. Google's own guidance favours content that shows real expertise and lived experience, and your future clients can tell the difference between something generated and something genuine.
I use my own skills and years of experience to shape your content so it sounds and looks like you, not a version of you filtered through a chatbot.

From booking to launch, most projects take around 6–8 weeks in total — allowing a 3–4 week prep phase (workbook, strategy, and content to be provided by you, or add-on) followed by the two-week build (more time, with add-ons). I’ll confirm your exact timeline in your proposal.
All final content — copy, images, logo, fonts, and colour palette — needs to arrive at least 7 working days before your build slot. Late content may mean rescheduling, and your payment timeline still applies. I’ll always give you a clear content checklist well in advance so there are no last-minute panics.

In addition to my fees, you’ll need to budget for Squarespace hosting (from around £12–£29+/month — I can offer 10% off your first year), and any optional Squarespace add-ons such as Acuity Scheduling (from £11/month) or Email Campaigns (from £9/month). I’ll guide you through all of this — no surprises.
Squarespace is very competitively priced, as you’ll see from their website.
You’ll also need:
Legal Pages: Content (e.g., Privacy Policy, Terms, and Conditions) isn’t included (but I can recommend resources).

Honestly? No — and anyone who says they can’t isn’t being straight with you. What I do is build stellar SEO foundations: clean site structure, on-page metadata, image optimisation, and guidance on connecting to Google Search Console. SEO is a long game, but a well-built site gives you the best possible start.
