Everything is streamlined through your private Client Portal, keeping us focused, organised and avoiding inbox chaos.
Prep (approx. 1-2 weeks)
2-3 business days after booking, you’ll receive the condensed Calm Brand Foundations Workbook— your guided roadmap to clarify your brand, service, and website direction.
Once complete, we’ll meet for a brief Workbook call.
From your answers, I’ll create the words for your website and visual direction (fonts, colours, image suggestions).
We review everything together via a brief Content Review Call, and you tweak/add anything before I make edits.

Brilliant! Here's the process for my affordable small business website package:
Proposal sent within 1-2 days of our call
Review and digitally sign the proposal and contract (usually same day) via my Getting Started Hub.
Pay a deposit to secure your project slot
Receive an invite to your client portal with timeline and next steps
You’ll complete the workbook during the prep phase approximately 1-2 weeks before your one-week build. This gives you a relaxed window to complete the workbook at your own pace. Next, it gives me one week to develop content, so that when the one-week web build begins, the process is focused, calm, and efficient.
Most clients have a pre-project and web-build slot locked in within 48 hours of our call!

Your deposit is due when you have viewed your proposal and accept your contract—typically within 24-48 hours of our call. This locks in your project slot in my calendar.

💷 Pricing & Payments

Once we agree on a start date and you've digitally signed the contract:
Starter Package:
50% deposit secures your project slot
Remaining 50% due before launch
Payments are accepted via bank transfer (UK only).
For non-UK clients: Payments are processed securely via Stripe using a credit or debit card. Transactions are made in GBP (£), and your bank will convert the amount based on its exchange rate. A 3% processing fee will be added to cover transaction costs for all locations.

In addition to my design fees, you’ll need to budget for Squarespace hosting (around £12-£23+/month with my 20% discount for your first year). Squarespace is very competitively priced, as you’ll see from their website.
Legal Pages: Content (e.g., Privacy Policy, Terms, and Conditions) isn’t included (but I can recommend resources).
Optional. Additional Squarespace built-in features (prices listed are paid annually):
Acuity scheduling from £11/month; Email marketing from £9/month; Courses or Member Areas from £7/month.
Domain: If you don't have one, expect to pay around £20 per year for purchasing a domain. Squarespace passes on a free year with your new Squarespace hosting plan.
Third-Party Licenses or Plugins: Costs for these are additional.
(Please note: Any Squarespace fees, etc., along with your domain fee, are separate from my fees.)

🌐 Tech & Platforms

I can’t guarantee SEO rankings, as no one truly can — search engines decide how sites are ranked, and they update their algorithms regularly. What I can do is set your one-page site up with strong SEO foundations: optimised title and description, mobile-friendly design, fast load speeds, keyword-rich copy, and clear site structure.
With a one-page site, you may be a little more limited in terms of targeting a wide range of keywords, but it can still perform really well when it’s focused, especially if you’re clear on your niche and location. Many of my clients use their one-page site as a strong starting point, and later expand into a multi-page website as their content grows.
SEO is also about more than the site itself — ongoing content, backlinks, and visibility strategies play a big part. So while I can’t guarantee Google rankings, I can absolutely ensure you’ve got a professional, search-friendly foundation that helps you show up and attract the right people.
