Well, hello there September 2015! It’s that time once again to reflect upon the month ahead (although a little late) and then to jot down or draw/collage/photograph/paint etc. our monthly dreams and goals! I completed mine a couple of days ago and they are below.
It's only the 4th September and yet so much has happened already - my father in law passed away on the 18th August and so the funeral was actually just two days ago on 3 September. Derek was very much loved and now missed and this has obviously affected all of us greatly.
When penning my monthly dreams and goals for this month, of course I can't help but feel saddened that we can't share Derek's birthday celebrations with him in two days but I do feel I can take some time out to celebrate the simple pleasures of life each and every day more than ever...
The scripture verse mentioned in the above photo is one I and the family are definitely holding onto at the moment:
I am your God who comforts you... Isaiah 51:12
So, as I've said, it's a poignant time for us all and with such a lot of worry and anguish the last six months or so, it feels really important to be gentle with myself and not expect too much and that's why there are no particular goals for this month, other than to savour moments of quiet whenever and wherever I can.
By the way, please join us over in my Facebook community if you'd like to share any of your dreams, goals and/or pictures for this month.
